One of the keys to USSMC's success in planning conferences, meetings, and other events is consistency. Our staff follows a predetermined series of steps that have been identified as the essential activities that must be performed to ensure that every critical requirement of event planning is fulfilled. They utilize timelines, work plans, and other management tools to guide them in this process. While a client's budget or timeline may mean that some adjustments need to be made in our approach (such as developing a black-and- white announcement notice and copying it in-house, rather than printing a four-color announcement brochure on glossy stock), there are several key steps that are never eliminated. We describe in this section the key steps in USSMC's conference and event planning process.

USSMC collaborates with key stakeholders such as community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and government staff at the Federal, regional, State, and local levels to ensure that events are designed to meet the goals and objectives of all involved organizations. We are experts at helping our clients identify and resolve issues around which a consensus must be reached before planning for an event can move ahead. Our clients have included: USDA, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, SAMSHA,other federal agencies.
